About the Club


The Warwick and Coventry Panthers are a university ice hockey club run by students, for students. The club is run for both students and staff from both Coventry and Warwick universities. Since the club was established it has done nothing but improve, now catering for all abilities. So whether you’ve never even worn a pair of skates or you’ve been drafted by the NHL (well not quite) we have something to suit you!


Teams

A Team
The Warwick and Coventry Panthers A team play in the British Universities Ice Hockey Association (BUIHA) Division 1 league.  In the 2010/11 season the club, having faced enormous goalie issues, finished 5th. The team plays regular home and away games, as well as a varsity & charity games.

B Team
The Warwick and Coventry Panthers B team play in the BUIHA Division 3 league.The team won it's division in 2009/10 season, as well as 2010/11 with an undefeated season all the way to National Championships. The team plays regular home and away games, as well as friendly & charity games

Beginners/C Team
The beginners “team” don’t play competitively but work on improving their skating and stick work each week. The beginners team comprise of complete beginners (skaters & players) to those who have played for a while but aren’t quite up to getting some kit on yet!
